Fundraising

The goal of our PTA fundraising efforts is simple:  to strengthen our school community, as well as raise money for enrichment programs that benefit our students. In addition to fundraising events, the PTA hosts several free family events throughout the school year. The PTA also sponsors several fundraising programs such as Read-a-thon, School Toolbox, store bonus rewards, Dining for Dollars, Box Tops, and much more.  We are also always looking for OES corporate sponsors to whom we offer unique advertising opportunities!!

WHAT DOES THE OAKTON PTA FUND EACH YEAR?

  • $9,000 in professional teacher development

  • $8,000 in teacher classroom grants for supplemental materials

  • $6,000 in technology funding

  • $5,500 in assemblies and cultural arts funding

  • $3,000 in classroom language arts funding

  • $2,000 in fun, community-building events like Puzzle and Game Nights

  • AND SO MUCH MORE!!!

HOW DOES THIS APPLY TO YOUR CHILD?

ON AVERAGE, THE PTA SPENDS THE FOLLOWING PER CHILD:
