The OES PTA supports artistic endeavors as a key element in education, as well as exposure to diversity, technology, science, and other important social and educational programs. Through assembly programs highlighting these aspects of a well-rounded educations, students nurture important values including team-building skills, respecting alternative viewpoints, appreciating and being aware of different cultures and traditions, and exploring new ways of learning and relating to the world around them.
Our program provides enrichment to the standard FCPS curriculum by exposing students to a variety of subjects. The PTA Cultural Arts Committee works to provide all students exposure to varied and exciting age- appropriate educational experiences through carefully selected assemblies. These assemblies are 100 % funded by the PTA.
