Fundraising

The PTA is hosting a variety of fundraising activities this year. The goal of our fundraising events is to strengthen our school community as well as raise money for enrichment programs that benefit our students. In addition to fundraising events, the PTA hosts several free family events throughout the school year.  The PTA also sponsors several fundraising programs such as store bonus rewards, family dinners out and more.

WHAT DOES THE OAKTON PTA FUND EACH YEAR?

  • $9,000 in professional teacher development
  • $8,000 in teacher classroom grants for supplemental materials
  • $6,000 in technology funding
  • $5,500 in assemblies and cultural arts funding
  • $3,000 in classroom language arts funding
  • $2,000 in fun, community-building events like Puzzle and Game Nights
